Songs of Silence

Go through the book with non-serious mind. Go slow like having an evening walk free from the burden of reaching a finish line instead having the freedom to return from wherever we feel like returning. Don’t go about finishing the whole book page by page in a day or a week, that’s not the way, it’s not a syllabus book. You don’t have to try to understand all the poems. Read freely, free from the burden of intellectually understanding them. Read them like sipping an intellectual cup of tea. Relaxed. More than trying to understand it, enjoy it. Go where the book takes you naturally. You can read them half, full or just a line and close the book. It is fine. Simple. Beautiful, just like life.
